Hon. Emilio González Márquez was born in 1960 in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco. He graduated from the University of Guadalajara with a degree in Accounting and received an M.A. in Human and Organizational Development from UNIVA. He has been active in politics for the last three decades. He was president of the Mexican Democratic Party (PDM). He later became a leading member of the National Action Party (PAN) since 1992, taking active part in the democratic transformation of the state of Jalisco. In January 2004 he became major of Guadalajara emphasizing transparency and efficiency. Since 2007 he is the Constitutional Governor of the state of Jalisco.

Rodrigo Sigal (www.rodrigosigal.com) (Mexico City-1971) Holds a PhD in Electroacoustic composition from City University in London, a BA in composition from the Musical Studies and Research Center (CIEM) in Mexico City, and was part of the composition workshop directed by Prof. Mario Lavista. He also studied with Denis Smalley, Javier Alvarez, Franco Donatoni, Judith Weird, Michael Jarrel, Alejandro Velasco and Juan Trigos among others. He finished a postdoctorate at the National School of Music in Mexico and he is the director of the Mexican Center for Music and Sonic Arts (www.cmmas.org). He holds a diploma on Cultural Management from the BID/UAM scheme since 2009. He has received awards from the Mexican National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA), The CIEM, The Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada, ORS and The Sidney Perry Foundation in England and the LIEM Studios and The Ministry of Culture in Spain, the 1st. Prize (Cycles, 1999), honorary mentions (Tolerance, 2000 and Twilight, 2001) at the Luigi Russolo Composition Prize and finalist at Bourges 2002 (Twilight). Friction of things in other places” won the 3rd place at the JTTP prize in 2003 by the CeC (Canada) and the SAN (UK).

Ing. Jaime Bueno Zertuche was born in 1974. He graduated from the Tecnológico de Monterrey with Honors in Industrial and Systems Engineer and received an MBA from EGADE, masters in International Economy and Free Trade Agreements and a Certificate from Business Administration from the University of Victoria in Canada. He also has a degree in Political Management from The George Washington University and a Degree in Advanced Leadership from the Washington Center. He has been active in government positions as General Director for DIF Coahuila, State Delegate for CONAFE, Director of Productive Projects for SEDESOL, State Representative FONAES and is currently Director of the Office of International Affairs for the State of Coahuila. During his office he has organized the Executive Tour with U.S. President Barack Obama, Israel President Simon Peres, and Cuban President Fidel Castro; coordinated the visit of Ex-Vice-President Al Gore to the State, represents the State of Coahuila in the Republic of China and Cuba and is the Executive Liaison for the Border Governors Conference.

Claudio X. González Laporte serves as a Proprietary Director of Sanborn Hermanos S.A., a subsidiary of Grupo Sanborns Sa De Cv. Mr. González Laporte served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Kimberly-Clark de Mexico S.A. de C.V, an equity company of Kimberly Clark Corp. since 1973 and 1966 respectively. He was employed by Kimberly-Clark Corp. in 1956 and by Kimberly-Clark de Mexico, S.A, the predecessor of Kimberly-Clark de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. in 1957. He served as Vice President of operations of Kimberly-Clark de Mexico S.A. since 1962 and as its Executive Vice President since 1966. He served as President of the Business Coordinating Council of Mexico. He was Special Advisor to the President of Mexico. Mr. Gonzalez serves as Chairman of the Board of ECE, S.A. de C.V. Hon. Juan Sabines was born in 1968 in Tepetlaoxtoc, Mexico. He graduated from the Iberoamerican University in Mexico with a bachelor’s of Political Science and Public Administration. Additionally, he has studiedInternational Relations from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Public Finance from UC-Berkeley and Social Doctrine from the Church in the Mexican Institute of the Christian Social Doctrine (IMDOSOC), among others. In 2004, he became Mayor of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of the state of Chiapas. In 2006, he became Governor of Chiapas as part of the Coalition for the Good of All composed by the parties PRD (Party of the Democratic Revolution, of which he is member), PT (Worker’s Party) and Convergence. Since the beginning of his political career, Hon. Juan Sabines has oriented his policy towards social development through efficient management of public resources.
